Many suggestions to reset Windows Updates, either with Microsoft Fix it 50202, available [[http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058/en-us|here]], or by stopping wuausrv and renaming the %SystemRoot%\SoftwareDistribution folder and restarting wuausrv.
