  - Open ofcscan.ini from the install directory.
  - Replace the value for Uninstall_Password/Unload_Password with **!CRYPT!111e8dc4081b13434b45189a720b77b6818**
  - Save the INI file.
  - The Uninstall/Unload password is now "abcdefgh".

  - Backup C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Officescan\PCCSRV\Private\AuthorStore\TrendAuthDef.xml
  - Open C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Officescan\PCCSRV\Private\AuthorStore\TrendAuthDef.xml file in notepad.
  - Replace the Pwd value for Root at the bottom of the file with:<code>Pwd=”!CRYPT!523F7DC2E525044E2800FCDEA7E5D78B70C0A4165387060525E3EE66D5D2D2F460EA361E712B5F871FD473C7A6C"</code> // Note: Replace only the portion for the root account. If there are other accounts shown do not edit those. //
  - Save the XML file.
  - Restart the OfficeScan Master Service.
  - Now you can run the uninstaller from control panel and when the uninstall password is asked, enter **trendmicro**.
