A Glitch in Code Takes Nine Department - How I uninstalled Trend OfficeScan without knowing uninstall password, in short:

1. Open ofcscan.ini from the install directory.
2. Replace the value for Uninstall_Password/Unload_Password with !CRYPT!111e8dc4081b13434b45189a720b77b6818
3. Save the INI file.
4. The Uninstall/Unload password is now “abcdefgh”.

Succesfully tested on an OfficeScan Client 10.6 installation.

Tips and Tricks! by Mahesha D - How to reset OfficeScan 10.0 Server console password?

1. Backup C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Officescan\PCCSRV\Private\AuthorStore\TrendAuthDef.xml
2. Open C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Officescan\PCCSRV\Private\AuthorStore\TrendAuthDef.xml file in notepad.
3. Replace the Pwd value for Root at the bottom of the file with:

   Pwd=”!CRYPT!523F7DC2E525044E2800FCDEA7E5D78B70C0A4165387060525E3EE66D5D2D2F460EA361E712B5F871FD473C7A6C"

   Note: Replace only the portion for the root account. If there are other accounts shown do not edit those.

4. Save the XML file.
5. Restart the OfficeScan Master Service.
6. Now you can run the uninstaller from control panel and when the uninstall password is asked, enter trendmicro.

Succesfully tested on an OfficeScan Server 10.6 installation.

Tried Knowledge Base - Remove or Reset Trend Micro OfficeScan,client/server or security server Uninstall Password to Default, but this did not work for OfficeScan Server 10.6.
